pre-wedding day wardrobe malfunction, again

Half way through rehearsal Bruce said "my shoe feels loose" and looked down and the whole side of his shoe (that hadn't been worn for about 10 years) was falling apart.
Thank goodness it happened during rehearsal instead of the day of...
And yes, we got a replacement pair at Johnstons at the local Chico Mall.

Bruce finally trashed his flip phone and got a new 5G smart phone and can't put it down.  After all the years of complaining about "kids" that can't get their noses out of their devices, he has joined their club.
