BAT CAVES!

Prevalent in this area of Colorado, the Bats are really welcomed to control the mosquito population.  They occupy the abandoned silver mines from the late 1800's to early 1900's.  Most are sealed off with wrought iron bars to prevent stupid people like us wanting to investigate.  This photo sign was on Taylor Pass.
