BAT CAVES!

Prevalent in this area of Colorado, the Bats are really welcomed to control the mosquito population.  They occupy the abandoned silver mines from the late 1800's to early 1900's.  Most are sealed off with wrought iron bars to prevent stupid people like us wanting to investigate.  This photo sign was on Taylor Pass. Elevation 8500.

 Our little Gunnar. He's a Norwegian Forest cat.   Just awaking from a nap.  Can't wait to get him out here with us.

A neighboring US flagged boat was beside us in a small bay in Grenada.  I thought it was interesting and indicative of the swirling winds.
